Favorite Sannin!!!

The Leaf Village has three great ninjas with extraordinary knowledge about chakra and jutsus. All three possess different sets of skills but they are all the top ninjas that everyone look up to young and ninjas alike. Notice how all three ended up having proteges from the same team!! As most of you will notice or already have noticed that there are a lot of parallels and connections in this series! Also another reason why I love this show!! 

They are Orochimaru, who specializes in sciences and has the skills to create new jutsus and new ways of unlocking human abilities that aren't known to be natural which are all categorized as "Forbidden Jutsus". He is the only one who chooses to abandon the Leaf village and begins his conquest for immortality and total power by collecting knowledge of all the jutsus and combining them with his expertise in the scientific field. It is this lust for power that he is also able to catch the interest of Saskue Uchiha who becomes one of many who have come to follow him. He is manipulative, but among all else he is by far one of the cleverest characters in the show in my opinion.

Next we have Sensei Jiraiya. He is an author, who has traveled around the world in order to find "inspiration" for his books. When really he goes around looking for beautiful women to look at and drool over. Typical guy, who outside of battle is pretty much a goof ball. But he is also one of the strongest of the three, on top of being a Sannin, he is also a Sage, which is on a whole other level of power. He takes Naruto under his wing, becomes his mentor, teacher, and in some ways closest thing Naruto ever had to a father.

THIS IS JUST A LOOK AT MASTER JIRAIYA IN SAGE MODE, TELL ME ITS NOT THE COOLEST THING YOU HAVE EVER SEEN. YOU HAVE TO SEE HIM IN ACTION THOUGH!!! WATCH THE WHOLE SHIPPUDEN SERIES (UP TO DATE) WITH THE LINK ON THE SIDE!!

And last but certainly not the least is Lady Tsunade. She is a medical ninja, and the best one at that. She was the reason the each team in modern day Konoha is required one ninja with medical abilities. She is the grandniece of the 2nd Hokage. Her protege is none other than Sakura. She becomes the first female Hokage in Konoha, and the first female kage introduced in the series. She has her positives such as having unnatural physical human strength. She has exceptional knowledge about herbs, remedies, poisons,etc. Of course she has her negatives but the biggest one is what she does in her spare time as her main and only hobby, she gambles excessively!!! Although the elders don't like her as the Hokage, everyone comes to see how reliable and noble she really is.

So now the question, which is your favorite Sannin, I know there's a lot of different perspectives, in all honesty my favorite has to be Jiraiya. He is the character that you want to be, a womanizer, and goof ball. On the battle field you are known and feared. This is what I love in a character, and if you have watched the series you realize how noble and caring he is, his personality is upbeat and easy to relate to in different ways. I think it's also awesome how he was looked down on as a child but later became the strongest on his team and leader of his team.

About Me (Mandatory Intro.)

Hello my name is Brandon, I am 20ish years old and one of my secret passions is Japanese animation. I have been watching "anime" since the age of 10. My favorite among all though is Naruto Shippuden. I have a martial arts background so it's the perfect show for me. I like how there is non stop action and the different type of story it has behind it. The reason this show has managed to keep so interested and I'm sure it's the same reason for all of you or at least most of you. The story behind the show is captivating, to this day the show isn't over and the show is only getting deeper, there are so many twists and turns such as the secret behind Madara Uchiha and his increasing power, where will it end?? Or maybe the secret behind the power that Itachi Uchiha granted him all that time ago from their last encounter before being defeated by his younger brother Saskue.

 This is no ordinary television series, it is one of the biggest shows to this day. The drama behind it is so captivating, and so intense that i literally wake up every Thursday morning and read the Manga (Japanese comic book) and watch the new episode of the week. And what is the best thing about this series is that you can go back and watch the older episodes and not get bored. Obviously every show needs fillers but even those are worth a look at because you usually get to see another point of view other than the main character's.

There is martial arts involved and since i studied it as i said earlier i would hope that any martial artists out there who become a follower will give me some feed back about what they think. Personally i enjoy the Taijutsu (hand-to-hand combat) its a mix of all the different martial arts of this world (tae-kwon-do, kempo, jujitsu, and tai chi). So as you can see that is one of the bigger aspects aside for the hundreds and hundreds of jutsus you come across, then you have their elemental  break down as to which one is stronger. There are soo many things i want to talk about in the martial arts sense as well!!!

I was hoping to go into depth with you all on specific topics, and asking for suggestions about them. I want to gain more perspectives of the series than only the one I have, I want this to be a place where we can escape to the Land Of Fire and talk about what we like and don't like about certain ninja, or what we do or don't like about certain techniques. I want to talk about background stories, and talk about it more as the story unfolds and i want us all on the same page hence why i put up the links for the manga and show. I want us to talk about conventions we've been to and put up pictures from it. I have yet to go to a convention but I am planning on going to one in May as Sai =].
