About Me (Mandatory Intro.)

Hello my name is Brandon, I am 20ish years old and one of my secret passions is Japanese animation. I have been watching "anime" since the age of 10. My favorite among all though is Naruto Shippuden. I have a martial arts background so it's the perfect show for me. I like how there is non stop action and the different type of story it has behind it. The reason this show has managed to keep so interested and I'm sure it's the same reason for all of you or at least most of you. The story behind the show is captivating, to this day the show isn't over and the show is only getting deeper, there are so many twists and turns such as the secret behind Madara Uchiha and his increasing power, where will it end?? Or maybe the secret behind the power that Itachi Uchiha granted him all that time ago from their last encounter before being defeated by his younger brother Saskue.

 This is no ordinary television series, it is one of the biggest shows to this day. The drama behind it is so captivating, and so intense that i literally wake up every Thursday morning and read the Manga (Japanese comic book) and watch the new episode of the week. And what is the best thing about this series is that you can go back and watch the older episodes and not get bored. Obviously every show needs fillers but even those are worth a look at because you usually get to see another point of view other than the main character's.

There is martial arts involved and since i studied it as i said earlier i would hope that any martial artists out there who become a follower will give me some feed back about what they think. Personally i enjoy the Taijutsu (hand-to-hand combat) its a mix of all the different martial arts of this world (tae-kwon-do, kempo, jujitsu, and tai chi). So as you can see that is one of the bigger aspects aside for the hundreds and hundreds of jutsus you come across, then you have their elemental  break down as to which one is stronger. There are soo many things i want to talk about in the martial arts sense as well!!!

I was hoping to go into depth with you all on specific topics, and asking for suggestions about them. I want to gain more perspectives of the series than only the one I have, I want this to be a place where we can escape to the Land Of Fire and talk about what we like and don't like about certain ninja, or what we do or don't like about certain techniques. I want to talk about background stories, and talk about it more as the story unfolds and i want us all on the same page hence why i put up the links for the manga and show. I want us to talk about conventions we've been to and put up pictures from it. I have yet to go to a convention but I am planning on going to one in May as Sai =].

I hope that all of you have enjoyed this introduction about myself, and in reading this will trust my blog to me informative but also a place to come express yourself freely about one of the best shows to hit the television screen!!! Please feel free to comment and discuss topics with me daily.
